Forensic Science: Junior Detective Lab

Forensic Science: Junior Detective Lab

Calling all young detectives! In this hands-on, interactive camp, campers will dive deep into the fascinating world of crime scene investigation, using the tools of real forensic experts to uncover hidden clues and solve mysteries.
Campers will explore forensic techniques using chemistry, biology, and physics to analyze evidence and crack tough cases. Every day brings a new mystery to solve, and it’s up to the campers to investigate the scene, gather evidence, and put the pieces of the puzzle together!
The Case of the Contaminated Creek & Eagles Nest
This environmental mystery requires students to investigate potential contamination in Crystal Creek. By examining macro-invertebrate images, hair and glass samples, lip prints, and DNA data, campers will unravel the clues and reveal the source of contamination.
A murder in a quiet houseboat community sets the stage for you and your students to test their forensic knowledge. Students will be forensic technicians as they analyze hair, fiber, fingerprint, blood, and handwriting evidence to help pinpoint the killer.
