Monday | 9 am – 12 pm | Art Club | ESTEAM Academy | Ages 8 – 14

Art Club is a beginner’s multimedia course for students with artistic interests. This club focuses on students with less experience with drawing, art techniques, and painting wanting to learn these concepts and skills.

This Club fosters art as both a physical skill set and communicative soft skill. Art is expressive in ways that words sometimes fail to be and learning how to understand another person through the art they produce and to express moods, emotions, and experiences through art is a lifelong therapeutic, social, and self-care skill that will benefit a student throughout their lifetime.

Art Club touches lightly on the art history of relevant artists and eras to each semester’s focal mediums and techniques. This club covers drawing skills, illustration, still life, abstract art, watercolor, and acrylic painting as well as mixed media pieces.
