  2. Watch Video on Robert Rauschenber https://youtu.be/yELmPbQNx9M
    • Watch the first 15 minutes of the Rauschenber video with nothing in your hands
    • 15 minutes into the Documentary, pick up your sketchbook
    • Continue to watch and pay attention to the history of the artist
    • Draw.  Draw whatever you wish in any style you wish, while you listen to the documentary, draw something in this moment that you really want to draw.  Do something you think is going to be fun and you’ll be proud of when complete.
  3. Look up the artist on the internet.
    • Discover Dates
      • Their Birth and Death Dates
      • Their years active as artist
    • Use the Dates
      • What was happening in their country during their life and time productive as artist?
      • What was happening throughout the world?
    • Make a brief film of you drawing in your sketchbook in the style of the Artist Studied
      • While you draw speak about what you have learned while studying the artist, what style did they create within, etc?
      • Where there other artists in different mediums producing similar work even though in a different medium?
      • Looking back into their time, can you understand why they were creating, what they were creating?
      • If initially, you did not find this art form inspiring, has learning about it from multiple angles, raised your appreciation for it?
      • Can a raised appreciation also turn dislike into like?
