As a hands-on learning company that caters to children and families, ESTEAM Learning Labs is committed to helping families find creative ways to enhance your child’s learning experiences.  We have been in the business of bring fun exciting hands-on learning for over 10 years and have been in the educational field for over 30.

We have decided that the equipment that we use in our classes best serves you while it is in your kid’s hands. So until schools open we will have an Equipment Lending Library. The refundable rental cost will vary depending on the equipment.

When checking out you will pay a refundable deposit.  If you keep the equipment longer then the rental agreement and have not extended your rental your account will be charged for the full price of the equipment and you get to keep it.



ESTEAM Library Lab staff Sanitizes the equipment and prepares it for pick up from ESTEAM Learning Labs in Round Rock TX.



After the class is over and your rental time is complete, the equipment will need to be returned in the same condition that it was received.  We will then sanitized the equipment again and get it ready for another family to use.

Our Lending Library is designed so our equipment can best serve our customers, especially in this uncertain time. We have a wide variety of LEGO® equipment for robotics, art, movie making, and more! We would love to be able to partner with parents and give you access to resources and tools to develop your children’s skills and interests, while having tons of fun along the way! Our service is similar to a rental service in that you can reserve a kit for a specified amount of time, but there is a refundable deposit that will be returned to you once you give the kit back.

Is this a Subscription Service?

No, we do not require a subscription. You simply pay a deposit per the amount of time you choose to have the kit and then return it when you are finished with your fun.


How does it work?

  1. Choose the kit you would like and then reserve a time and date to pick up the kit. Pay the refundable deposit fee. We will contact you in order to set up a time and date to return your kit. 

  2. Arrive at our Round Rock location (12a Lake Dr Round Rock, TX)  at the time you initially decided and we will be there to supply you with your kit and instruction booklet. If you would feel more comfortable, we can leave the kit outside our building for you to take when you arrive, just let us know in advance that you would like to do that.

  3. When you bring it home and initially check out the kit, ensure you have all the pieces and supplies as stated on the included Kit Map (specifically the major components found in the bottom section of the box). Feel free to contact us as soon as possible if you find you are missing pieces!

  4. Once you have verified you have all the pieces you need, have fun!

  5. Before returning, ensure all the pieces are back in their rightful place (this makes it much easier on our staff when they are resetting the kits for the next reservation). Feel free to sanitize the kit if you would like, but when all our kits are returned they will be going through heavy sanitization before being sent out again.

  6. Bring the kit back to our Round Rock location at your scheduled time and wait for your refund to arrive!


Can the kits be purchased during the rental period?

If you find you are having so much fun with your kit that you would like to keep it, let us know and we will charge your account for the difference of the full amount of the kit’s value and the rental fee. Enjoy! 


Do you offer your service nationwide?

Currently we are only offering our service for the central Texas area, but we are looking to expand in the future! 


When does the rental period begin and end? 

The rental period will begin on the day you reserved your kit to be picked up and will end on the day you reserved to drop it off. 


What is the deposit for?

The deposit is our liability insurance to guarantee our kits are returned in the same condition they were received. If they return damaged, the deposit may not be refunded for the full amount.


What if I lose or break some pieces?

Certain pieces are easily replaceable simply because they may break or be lost quite easily. For these pieces, no penalty is added. However, for major components like motors and brains that are more expensive to replace, there may be a fee equal to the piece’s value. This fee will come out of your refundable deposit. 


Can I cancel my rental?

Cancellation is allowed at any point during the rental process. If you choose to cancel before receiving the kit, please notify us within 24 hours of the reservation so we can make the proper preparations. If you wish to return the kit early, contact us to set up an earlier drop off time and you will receive your deposit earlier than originally anticipated. 


What if I want to extend the rental period?

We would be happy to extend your rental period provided other customers aren’t waiting to use the same kit. Contact us to extend the date. We will charge an additional refundable deposit per the total amount of weeks you choose to keep the equipment. 


What if I find missing pieces or parts after I return the kit?

Please contact us and we can set up a time for you to drop off the pieces.
