Pathfinder Camps: Real-World Skills for Teens
Teens want meaning. The right camp gives them real projects, real responsibility, and a place to belong.
Pathfinders gives teens a reason to show up
Teens don’t want busywork. They want real tools, meaningful projects, and a reason their work matters. Pathfinder camps are designed to feel like a studio or lab—where students collaborate, lead, and produce something they can share.
What Pathfinders projects can include
- Film and video production with planning, shooting, editing, and presentation.
- Advanced robotics challenges with strategy, documentation, and iteration.
- Entrepreneur-style projects where students pitch an idea or showcase a finished product.
How we run camp: agency with guardrails
Kids do better when they have real ownership and clear structure. At the start of the week, we invite campers to help create the group guardrails—shared rules they agree to follow—and we coach them on how to keep each other accountable respectfully. When disagreements happen (because kids are learning to be human), we provide a Peace Table so they can talk it out and repair the situation, with guidance when needed.
Find the right track
- Discovery (younger learners): play-based exploration with gentle structure and lots of movement.
- Explorers (ages 8–12): bigger builds, deeper challenges, and more independence.
- Pathfinders (teens): real tools, real projects, and real responsibility.
