LEGO® Cinematic Adventures: Movie Making

Write, Build, Animate, and Add Sound—One Scene at a Time

Campers team up to turn LEGO® builds into stop-motion movies. They brainstorm story ideas, storyboard scenes, build sets, animate movement frame-by-frame, then add music and sound effects to bring their film to life.

Plan the story with a simple script and storyboard to save time while filming
Build the set using LEGO® bricks, props, and backgrounds designed for the camera frame
Animate with small, smooth movements and a consistent frame rate for quality motion
Film like a director by stabilizing the camera, managing lighting, and reviewing footage
Finish the movie with titles, credits, music, sound effects, and optional voice-over

Don’t see a location near you? We can customize a program to fit your schedule and your learners. Choose a full 5-day camp (9am–4pm), a one-day camp, a 3-hour workshop, an after-school series, or a free Maker event.

We believe kids learn best when they can explore at their own pace. Campers work in teams, and our instructors guide each group based on readiness—so no one is overwhelmed, everyone is challenged, and no one is bored.
