Learn Robotics with Engineering & Coding using LEGO® Educational Kits

Learn the basics of robotics, engineering, and coding with LEGO® bricks and elements. Students will build and program robots that will they will use to complete a series of challenges.

Students design, build and program robots using LEGO® Education robotics technology – the powerful LEGO® Mindstorms Robotics system features an easy-to-use programming language that lets students immediately begin simple robotics programming and then advance into developing more complex algorithms.

Students work in pairs or individually to complete projects and compete in themed challenges. This learning lab focuses on the engineering design process, building, and programming using LEGO® educational kits. Advanced activity generally provides additional opportunities with drones and complex and simple machines.

We believe in letting children learn and explore at their own pace. Our students work in teams and our instructors tailor teaching for each team. This allows us to spend more time explaining fundamental concepts to some students while introducing advanced engineering and programming challenges to others.

Our mission is to provide fundamental and advanced disciplines as it applies to today’s standards. We motivate our young creatives to set new paths for greater possibilities by building personal portfolios to take home at the end of the week.

Join us this summer to see how their new path unfolds.

FUNgineering Learning Labs are appropriate for children ages 4-7.

JR. Engineering Learning Labs are appropriate for children ages 7 and up.

Advanced Engineering Learning Labs are appropriate for children ages 9 and up.

Although we use over 10,000 LEGO® bricks & elements and the amazing LEGO® Education products in our program, we are not affiliated with LEGO® or LEGO® Education.

We believe in small class sizes (maximum: 14 students per educational director and one helper). The children are teamed up in small groups so that only 2-4 students share a kit. The class size is usually limited to 24 students with 2 camp directors and 2 – 4 counselors, the minimum size is 8.

In our core robotics program using LEGO®, our students learn the engineering concepts behind simple machines (how axles, pulleys, and gears work, etc.) as well as elementary concepts of computer programming – all in a super fun environment involving LEGO®! Students learn how to build by building really cool projects, and then we challenge them to build their own and modify the design. We give students time to enjoy free building to help develop their creative process. The power of LEGO®.

ESTEAM Learning Labs and ESTEAM Academy are a Texas LLC, based in the Austin metro area. We’re insured and our instructors are trained with extensive background checks.

As you know, LEGO® bricks can be used to build many different things. Throughout our classes, camps and workshop;  children build several different projects using the same parts and pieces from our kits. Therefor our kits and project may not go home with your student.  We will, however, do our best to take pictures and post them on Facebook

We are in the greater Austin, Waco, Temple and San Marcos Area.  We service the following cities:  Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Pflugerville, Spicewood and many more.

Check our LOCATIONS page for a Camp, Class or workshop near you.
Don’t see our program in your area, contact us and we will work with you to bring our program to your school or community center.
